Ryan MacDonald (forward)
Ryan signed from Greenock Juniors but was never really given the chance to impress or develop as a player during his time at Dunterlie. He played for us for one season (2000-2001) before moving on, and has since been a prolific scorer for Petershill, Neilston (including finishing at the top end of the inaugral Super League Premier scorers chart), and has just transferred to Johnstone Burgh (2005)
2000-2001 (Arthurlie) 2 goals
Alexander "Sandy" Maclean (goalkeeper)
Sandy was one of Arthurlie's most popular and consistent goalies having signed from Johnstone Burgh in 1994. Four seasons at Dunterlie ended with the arrival of Dave Cormack and culminated with the OVD Cup win in which he made a late appearance as a substitute. Previous Clubs also include Yoker Athletic, Petershill and Ayr United. Since leaving Dunterlie he has played for Largs Thistle and has tried his hand at management with Largs Thistle.
Billy McCafferty (left back/forward)
Billy was a left back come front man who found success in the front line as part of a deadly double act with Colin Crichton after singing from Kirkintilloch Rob Roy in April 1995. Previously fielded for Dynamo Dennistoun and Riddrie Rovers. After hitting a solitary strike in his debut season he struck gold in 1995-1996 with 26 goals. Despite this, he moved onto Irvine Meadow at the end of the season.
1995-1996 - Arthurlie FC - 22goals
Tony McCann (midfielder)
Signed from Arthurlie United in the close season of 2003. He was released a year later to join Neilston and is now back with Arthurlie United.
Derek McCulloch (central midfielder)
Del signed for us as part of an alleged £10000 deal with Auchinleck Talbot but failed to come up with the quality to match the price. He arrived with the weight of being labelled Scotlands finest junior midfielder but proved to thrive more in the sweeper role he played in his final matches with the 'Lie and has occupied since his transfer to Beith in 2002. Del is rumoured to be considering hanging up his boots due to a deformed hip which is hampering his football ability.
Tony McDonald (forward)
The Legend. Says it all when it comes to Tony McDonald. He netted 37 times in his debut season after joining for his second spell at the club from St Mirren. Between 1993-1997 he hammered the ball home no less than 65 times in competitive fixtures despite losing his place in the final two years. Previously he had joined from St Anthony's before going senior with the Buddies. He moved onto Shettleston in the summer of 1996.
Billy McGhie
Now manager of Clydebank, and still managing the odd game despite his ageing years.
Steven McGovern (goalkeeper)
DOB - 20.02.1982
Signed from Cambuslang Rangers in the summer of 2003, Steven left a year later after becoming disillusioned with a lack of first team opportunities. He was transfer listed that summer and eventually signed for Queens Park before briefly flirting with the East juniors and Linlithgow Rose. Has also previously played for Airdrie.
Raymond McGuigan (left midfielder)
Raymond signed from Shotts Bon Accord in the summer of 1995.
Stephen McInulty (defender/midfielder)
A hard working midfielder who joined from Clyde in the close season of 1998 to bolster a team which had just secured the Scottish Junior Cup. Capable of playing in midfield or defence, Stephen had previously played for Hamilton Accies and Larkhall Thistle. Since leaving Dunterlie he has moved onto Cumnock and is currently captain at Shotts Bon Accord.
James McKie (goalkeeper)
Signed from Shettleston in July 1998, James had previously played for arch rivals Pollok as well as Ashfield. He spent much of his time at the club on the bench, unable to dislodge Dave Cormack from the Number 1 spot.
Mark McLaughlin (left back)
Arguably the best left back to ever play in Barrhead, Mark was a tireless player, capable of lung bursting runs up and down the wing and netting numerous goals, including 15 in 1998-1999 and a hat trick in a cup game against Benburb days after netting in the OVD Cup final win over Pollok.
Charlie McLean (forward)
Signed from Cumnock in September 1998, Charlie had previously been on the books of Celtic and Hamilton Accies. He left within the year.
Scott McNab (goalkeeper)
Scott was signed from Kirkintilloch Rob Roy in the summer of 2004 to provide competition with Dean Sexton for the goalie spot but suffered serious injury in the last minute of his first start against Stranraer. He fought through numerous operations and tests, only to leave the club for Clydebank in January 2004.
Allan McQuade (midfielder)
Son of former player and manager Jimmy, Allan was signed from Neilston in March 1999 having previously played for Cambuslang Rangers.

Gary Madden (forward/midfielder)
Madden signed for Arthurlie after being released by Pollok in the summer of 2002 but failed to make a significant enough impact on Frank Lynch to gain a contract extension beyond the two years he spent at Dunterlie. Previously having played for Killermont Amateurs he transferred to Johnstone Burgh, Kilbirnie Ladeside and most recently has just been released by Kilwinning Rangers.
Lee Martin (defender)
'Lexy' was an immensely popular defender who had two spells at Dunterlie (1997-98 and 2000-2002) sandwiched around time at Neilston. Originally signed from St Peter's U21s, he moved onto Neilston, Johnstone Burgh and then back to Dunterlie and to Neilston again

Kevin played one season with the 'Lie, scoring three goals early in the season. He is now plying his trade with Vale of Leven in the district leagues.
2000-2001 (Arthurlie) 3 goals
Fraser Murray (midfielder)
Fraser signed on at Dunterlie with an impeccable pedigree despite his youth, having already been on the books of Queens Park Rangers and Aston Villa.
