Ian Anderson (midfielder)
Ian played as a trialist in June 1998 from Port Glasgow Rangers, starting one match and coming off the bench in another.
Robert Anderson (central defender)
Robert played for the 'Lie from 1993 after signing from Rutherglen Glencairn before defecting to arch rivals Pollok in the summer of 1996 without any transfer fee. Known at the time to prefer his modelling career over his footballing one, Robert has since to gone on to play for a number of teams including Bellshill, Albion Rovers and (at present) four spells at Neilston.
Scott Archer (midfielder)
Scott was a popular midfielder who has won two OVD Scottish Junior Cup medals (Glenafton 1994 & Arthurlie 1998) and who played for Arthurlie from 1995-1999 before he left Dunterlie to re-join Glenafton. Scott is currently manager of Cambuslang Rangers, after serving his apprenticeship as Number 2 at Larkhall Thistle and at Somervell Park. Has also played for Bellshill Athletic, Hamilton Accies and Albion Rovers.

Iain Ashcroft (central defender)
DOB - 11.11.1962
Iain is a favourite down Barrhead way and has been consistently linked with a return in a coaching capacity since he made his first foray into management, taking charge of Hurlford for a brief spell. He has also turned out for Pollok, Albion Rovers, Hamilton Academicals, Irvine Meadow and Hurlford.

John Barrett (forward)
DOB - 18.04.1971
John signed for Arthurlie from Clyde to take up the role of the bustling target man but never really made the grade at Dunterlie. A poor goal return and a lack of fitness saw John move on to sign for Kilbirnie Ladeside in a double deal with Kenny Gillies.
1995-1998 - Pollok FC
1998- - Clyde FC
David Brolly (forward)
Brolly was signed after captaining Johnstone Burgh to the Premier Division title and joined Arthurlie alongside his team mate Zander Ryan in the summer of 2002. While Zander remains an integral part of the Barrhead side, Davie moved on after a season of under achieving to move to Irvine Meadow where he rediscovered the scoring touch. He was last seen playing for Largs Thistle under former 'Lie striker Stevie Quigg.
Robert Brown (Defender/Midfielder)
'Bruno' signed for the 'Lie from Ayr United in 1992 having also recently played for Albion Rovers. A hugely popular player in Barrhead, he stayed with the team for seven seasons before moving on. Since then he has been seen playing for Shotts Bon Accord

Signed from Cambuslang Rangers.
Pat Cairney (defender)
Pat was signed from Dumbarton in 1989 and played the part of imposing and dominating centre half with perfection. Previous teams were Airdrie, Yoker Athletic, Baillieston and Petershill. He was released in February 1995 and has since been seen as a coach at Petershill.
Dave Cormack (goalkeeper)
Imposing goalie Cormack signed for Arthurlie in time to make his debut in the OVD 3rd Round tie against Maybole in December 1997, and was lucky only to receive a booking six minutes in for pulling down an incoming front man. He went on to play a pivotal role in the OVD Cup winning run. He retired a few seasons later, but returned after an SOS from Frank Lynch to help his team out for an additional season. He was signed from Ross County, having also played for Hamilton Accies.
John Crawford (defender)
John signed from Clydebank in the summer of 1994 and scored two goals before moving on to Arbroath in April of the following year.
James Creaney (forward)
Jimmy signed for Arthurlie in the summer of 1999 from Kilwinning Rangers, fighting off competition from Hugh Ward in a pre-season friendly to win a contract (he netted twice to Ward's solitary strike). A man of many clubs, Jimmy has a fiercesome reputation on the pitch (and some might say off it) and has played, successfully, for more clubs than your average Scotsman has had pints of Tennents. Teams include Baillieston and Dalry Thistle Most recently he retired from the playing side of the game after the better part of 2004-05 at Johnstone Burgh to take up a coaching position at East Region side Linlithgow Rose. Missing the footballing side, he resigned for Troon in the summer of 2005 to have another crack.
Colin Crichton (forward)
Without doubt one of the best frontmen ever to lead the Arthurlie line, 'Rocky' Crichton spent two seasons at Dunterlie after his transfer from Shettleston in 1995. He quickly won over those fans who doubted him due to his past turnouts for Pollok, with a goal against the Newlandsfield side after flying in from America to make his debut in a Sectional League Cup tie in August of that year. He went on to net 43 competitive goals in two seasons before retiring after leading the 'Lie to a CPS Cup win over Pollok in June 1997. After leaving Barrhead he headed to America to take up a coaching role, before returning briefly to turn out for Kirkintilloch Rob Roy. His previous teams included St Rochs, Glasgow Perthshire, Rutherglen Glencairn and Lesmahagow.
Andy Dailly (forward)
Dailly had a brief spell at Dunterlie after signing from East Kilbride Thistle in the summer of 1988. Has also had a disastrous spell in charge of Pollok and played for East Kilbride Thistle.

Peter Dennison (goalkeeper)
Peter played briefly for Arthurlie in the late nineties, but had no real hope of dislodging Dave Cormack from the team. Since departing Dunterlie he plied his trade for Vale of Leven until the summer of 2005 when he earned a move to Abbey Park to try and help Kilwinning Rangers regain their place in the Premier Division.
Willie Devine (goalkeeper)
Willie was a stalwart of the Arthurlie team from 1993 when he signed from Shotts Bon Accord before moving on to Baillieston in the summer of 1995 after the arrival of Sandy MacLean. A Scotland Junior International, Willie has also played for Lanark United.

Alan Donohoe (goalkeeper)
Donohoe was back up goalie for several years having signed on from Renfrew but, having failed to dislodge Sandy MacLean he moved on to Johnstone Burgh where he is still playing ten years on from his 1995 transfer.

Robert Downs (forward)
Downsy was a fans favourite, capable of scoring and creating goals out of nothing. Having signed from Hamilton Accies in 2002 he spent three seasons at Dunterlie in which he formed a formidable partnership with Bonner McKenzie. In the summer of 2005 he chose to have another crack at the senior game, stepping up to join SFL 3rd Division side Cowdenbeath. He has also played for our bitter rivals Pollok.

Gavin Duncan (right back)
Gavin is widely regarded to have been one of the best right backs to have graced the Dunterlie pitch although he left the club under a dark cloud, after deciding to walk out to join Stenhousemuir. Signed from Shettleston in 1995, Gavin quickly attracted the attention of senior clubs, turning down a return to Partick Thistle. He did, however, accept a move to Ochilview in the summer of 1998. He hit the headlines in 2003 for non football reasons, with his son being awarded £1.1m due to an error made by medical staff during his birth. He has now returned to junior football with Neilston.
